In 2015, four executives turned entrepreneurs after decades of experiences in consumer goods industry. They set out to solve the offline data gap they experienced in their days with the main mission to leverage technology to help brands grow. They were frustrated with the delay in data gatherings and how little they knew about their shoppers beyond the existing survey-based data and estimates. While on the other side of the retail spectrum, the tech-based companies and online retail players have all the access to a large bank of users’ data that the offline counterparts can only dream of. Therefore, it is in that particular gap that these three founders saw the opportunity to fill in by joining forces and create Snapcart. And in September 2015, Snapcart was born.

Experienced in Consumer Goods, Consulting and Technology. Held leadership roles at Procter & Gamble, The Boston Consulting Group, and was the CEO of Berniaga.com leading the site to be the no. 1 commerce site in Indonesia. He enjoys traveling, eating out, and a skilled online gamer.
Laith Abu Rakty
Co-Founder & CTO
His expertise spans from building, managing, and validating Tech Roadmap, visualize mobile application with the available resources and assets. Formerly the VP of Engineering at Ardent Capital, and was the Software Engineer Lead for Bobobobo.com. He enjoys diving and hiking.
Co-Founder & COO/Data Science
She was Procter & Gamble’s Consumer Insight Associate Director with 17 years of experience. She is responsible in developing Snapcart’s big data analytics and machine learning capabilities. If she is not crunching numbers or taking her little boys, you can find her at the gym or meditating.
Co-Founder & CFO
A finance, strategy and corporate development expert. Her previous roles include VP of Ardent Capital and Phatra Investment Banking (based in Thailand). She co-founded several fashion retail brands in the US and Thailand. She enjoys experimenting random recipes and working on her impact investing.
Soon Lee Lim
Chief Revenue Officer, Asia - Pacific
She has 17 years of experience in consumer analytics prior to Snapcart. Held country head roles in South East Asia markets, in premier research agencies within the region which includes Nielsen, Kantar Worldpanel, and YouGov. In her spare time, she loves to do triathlon race.
Chief Product & Strategy Officer
Alvin has 7 years experience in equity research at Morgan Stanley. He spent last 4 years as equity research analyst in New York City and Singapore. Prior to that he has worked for DBS Bank, Merrill Lynch, HSBC and McKinsey across the world. In his free time, he enjoys playing Overwatch, DOTA, and snowboarding.
Country Sales & Operations Director, Indonesia
18+ years of experience in a number of research agencies (Nielsen, Research International, TNS, Synovate, Ipsos, ABN Impact) and also worked on the client side with the McDonald’s group prior to Snapcart. He was a lecturer at his faculty and currently teaches classical piano.
Eric M. de Leon
Country Sales & Operations Director, Philippines
Eric has more than 20 years sales and marketing experience gained from multinational companies, like Shell, J&J Medical, Sharp and Samsung. Prior to Snapcart, he was the retail and commercial lead at GfK Philippines Corp. Eric loves playing basketball and badminton sports for recreation.
Head of Data Operations
13+ years of experience in market research industry, working across different functions from client services, operations and sales. Prior to Snapcart, he was the Sales Operations Lead at Nielsen. He enjoys playing cricket, travelling and making new friends.
Head of Data Engineering
He has more than 15 years experience in application and system development including at Detikcom, Yahoo!, and Multiply. He also actively contributes in several open-source projects. In his free time he enjoys playing Mobile Legends and cooking.
She has more than 13.5 years of experience in the finance and accounting field. Prior to Snapcart she held senior roles in various multinational companies such as PricewaterhouseCoopers, Baker Hughes, and most recently, Traveloka. She enjoys running and playing with her dogs.
She has 8 years of experience in Market Research, quantitative research, and analytics where she worked at Philippine Survey and Research Center (PSRC), Northern Trust, and Maersk. She loves to sing and engage into fitness activities such as running and gym.
He is the founder of Infinity CXT, Snapcart's partner in custom research in Indonesia. He held senior roles at Ipsos, with more than 12-years’ experience working with industry-leading companies in Indonesia. He is a San Antonio Spurs fan and loves cooking in his spare time.
Dr. Liang Kee Goh
Dr. Goh has a degree from National University of Singapore specializing in machine learning and data mining algorithms. After completing her PhD from Auckland University of Technology, she furthered her data analytics skills in the field of bioinformatics as an assistant professor at Duke University. Dr. Goh has 16 years of experience in artificial intelligence for research in communicable diseases, cancer research and genetics analysis, published several research papers and holds several patents.
