In September 2015, Snapcart was born. Four executives turned entrepreneurs after decades of experiences in consumer goods industry. They set out to solve the offline data gap they experienced in their days with the main mission to leverage technology to help brands grow. They were frustrated with the delay in data gatherings and how little they knew about their shoppers beyond the existing survey-based data and estimates. While on the other side of the retail spectrum, the tech-based companies and online retail players have all the access to a large bank of users’ data that the offline counterparts can only dream of. Therefore, it is in that particular gap that these three founders saw the opportunity to fill in by joining forces and create Snapcart.

With 13+ years of experience in FMCG retail and consumer market research, she has deep knowledge in data science and analytics. She led Nielsen Consumer Panel Data Science in Asia prior to joining Snapcart. She loves travelling and is a foodie.
Dr. Goh has a degree from National University of Singapore specializing in machine learning and data mining algorithms. After completing her PhD from Auckland University of Technology, she furthered her data analytics skills in the field of bioinformatics as an assistant professor at Duke University. Dr. Goh has 16 years of experience in artificial intelligence for research in communicable diseases, cancer research and genetics analysis, published several research papers and holds several patents.
