About the job
At Snapcart, we are modernizing our platform and scaling our infrastructure to support high-growth, data-intensive systems. We are looking for a Mid-Level Infrastructure Engineer (at least 3+ years experience) who can operate reliably in production environments and contribute to our ongoing monolith-to-modern architecture migration.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and operate cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP
  • Deploy, manage, and optimize Docker and Kubernetes (K8s) environments
  • Design and maintain infrastructure using Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
  • Support application teams in migrating from monolithic systems to modern, containerized and distributed architectures
  • Ensure high availability, performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting; handle incidents and perform root cause analysis
  • Document infrastructure design, runbooks, and operational procedures
  • Continuously improve reliability, automation, and security posture
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years experience in infrastructure / DevOps / SRE roles
  • 3+ years of work experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • 3+ years of work experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP
  • Solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Production experience using Terraform
  • Good understanding of networking, Linux systems, and cloud security fundamentals
  • Experience supporting high-traffic or data-heavy systems is a strong advantage
  • Comfortable working in fast-moving engineering teams
  • Working in a remote setting


Nice to have

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience handling large-scale workloads
  • Familiarity with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
  • Experience in system migration projects
