The annual mudik (or homecoming) season in Indonesia is possibly the biggest annual exodus the country has. The event is part of the homecoming culture to celebrate the end of Ramadhan month where Indonesians will travel for miles to go back to their hometowns and would spend their time with their extensive family members.
